Moving to Austin!!
The time has come for our family to move on to the next chapter in life... My 19-year-old son Noah is beginning his freshman year at The Ohio State University in Columbus, studying business and minoring in music.
My oldest daughter Gwendolyn is continuing along her journey of independence and has been accepted into a residential community for adults with special needs in the Austin area.
My youngest daughter Madolyn is also starting a new chapter in her life which is sure to be full of amazing opportunities here in Houston. So, Steve and I will become "empty nesters" as we relocate to Austin to be near Gwendolyn. Steve will continue to publish his 2nd book (due out in October).
As many of you know, over the last four years I had been dabbling in all sorts of artistic mediums - acrylic, watercolor, magazine collage, and mixed media. My gallery walls are completely filled with framed original artwork and canvases and I now have several portfolios that are also filled to capacity!
For me, creating all types of art has been an incredible source of comfort and therapy especially through the last year and a half with COVID. Here are a few of my newer pieces.
I hope you will join me for some bittersweet good-byes and maybe add a piece or 2 to your collection. Gwendolyn will also have her artwork available for purchase.
