This week...

A Mother's Love for her Child

What's on my easel today: "The Prince is Giving a Ball"

I have really enjoyed getting to know the Procreate app for iPad and I know I am just touching the surface of what it can do. I have discovered many different brushes, and even created some of my own. I love the "Jagged" brush, which is what I most used to get the long wispy dresses as well as the feathery hats. I actually didn't have a reference photo for any of these. As usual, these are works in progress that I am excited to share.

Past Event: September Magazine Collage "Meetup"

What a special treat! Vicki and Lou, my sister-in-law's parents, were visiting from Kansas City and were excited to attend, although they had never done collage work before. Vicki has been a school teacher and Lou is a cartoon artist! I love their collage styles! My daughter, Gwendolyn, was excited to complete "The Letter F for Friedman", her first collage using her favorite colors. And of course, Meetup collage veteran, Janine, was on a mission of finding anything and everything teal color! We enjoyed our time together and I look forward to our October meetup (date to be determined).

If you are interested in attending these FREE future events, please reserve your spot so I need to know how many people to set up for. Here is link for more information which includes all the details, a list of supplies that you will want to bring with you, and a place to RSVP.

New this week on Redbubble.com

Earlier this year I have discovered RedBubble and the ability to turn my own artwork into wonderful products, from tote bags to shower curtains, coasters, greeting cards, dresses, shirts, pillows, and more. How cool would it be to own these unique creations or to provide exclusive gifts for friends and family. It is an easy way to take care of your holiday shopping! This video introduces just a small sampling of what is available.

To see all products currently available for purchase, be sure to check out my store at JennExpressions on Redbubble.
